Lazerwolfs - Get Mad
While some may cast aside as stoner rock or whatever I wouldn`t jump to any conclusions. With obvious influences from the mid to late 70`s, Lazerwolfs is straight out great guitar rock. I`m close to saying `heroic rock` as it just seems like the type of music that should play along while you`re reading a comic book from twenty years ago. They were able to muster a strong first outing with a real great raw and they just have the right amount of production. Which means you`re not going to hear a lot of overdubbed vocals and additional guitars. I think that`s great. But the serious distortion in the guitar is what makes this album so crunchy and driving. Then you through in some good old-fashioned drums and bass for good measure. This is music to drink cold beer to in a smokey bar with friends that like to smoke too much. - By J-Sin
